Những điều thú vị về Vanessa:
- Khi Vanessa được sinh ra, cha mẹ cô đã gửi đi một thông báo mang tiêu đề "Here she is, Miss America" (Hoa hậu Mỹ đây rồi!). Và vào ngày 17/9/1983, Vanessa Williams đã đi vào lịch sử nước Mỹ khi trở thành người phụ nữ da màu đầu tiên được trao danh hiệu Hoa hậu Mỹ sau khi đăng quang Hoa hậu New York. Rất tiếc một thời gian ngắn sau đó cô đã trả lại vương miện hoa hậu do dính dáng đến một vụ scandal.
